Leicester City reclaimed their position in the Premier League by securing automatic promotion from the Championship. With just two matches left in the season, the Foxes needed a single victory to ensure their ascent. Alternatively, their return could have been confirmed earlier if Leeds faltered against Queens Park Rangers.

Their fate was sealed on Friday night as Daniel Farke's squad suffered a 4-0 defeat in West London. Ilias Chair and Lucas Andersen scored first-half goals for the hosts, followed by Lyndon Dykes and Sam Field securing the win. Leicester's jubilant players celebrated immediately after the final whistle, as captured in a video shared on the club's social media. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall led the lively festivities, expressing the team's excitement.

Amidst the celebrations, midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall indicated that the party was far from over, inviting others to join them in Leicester. Meanwhile, Wilfred Ndidi extended congratulations to the team, staff, and fans, emphasizing that there are still two more games to go. Stephy Mavididi echoed the sentiment, exclaiming "PREMIER LEAGUE BABY," while goalkeeper Mads Hermansen chanted, "We are going up!"

The club's social media team added to the revelry by poking fun at promotion rivals, particularly referencing a previous encounter with Leeds United in February.

Despite facing challenges throughout the season, Leicester's resurgence culminated in securing the Championship title with victories against Preston and Blackburn in their final two games. Enzo Maresca's team, which had a strong start to the season, experienced setbacks before reclaiming their position at the top of the table with crucial wins over West Brom and Southampton.

Maresca emphasized the importance of focusing on securing promotion rather than the title, acknowledging the unpredictability of football and the need to maintain momentum heading into the next crucial matches.
