Chelsea's Late Surge: Thrilling 3-2 Victory at Nottingham Forest

In a dramatic match, Chelsea continued their late push for European qualification with a frantic 3-2 win at Nottingham Forest. The hosts missed the chance to secure their Premier League survival in style.

Goals from Mykhailo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling, and Nicolas Jackson secured three successive wins for Mauricio Pochettino's side. With two games remaining, they are now level with sixth-placed Newcastle.

Pochettino, whose future at the club hangs in the balance, could lead the Blues into either the Europa League or Europa Conference League, depending on Manchester United's final league position and FA Cup outcome.

Despite Forest's hopes of sealing their top-flight status with a win after goals from Willy Boly and Callum Hudson-Odoi put them ahead, they are all but safe from relegation. They sit three points above 18th-placed Luton with a superior goal difference.

Forest fans showed defiance amid a turbulent season, booing the Premier League anthem and displaying banners. However, Chelsea spoiled the party, taking the lead through Mudryk in the eighth minute.

Forest responded strongly, with Boly equalizing before Hudson-Odoi put them ahead. Yet, Chelsea's resilience showed as Sterling and Jackson netted within two minutes to snatch victory from the hosts.
