With the teams above them clinching victories, Liverpool is in dire need of a significant win in the season's final match to narrow the gap to the top as much as possible. Conversely, Wolves are eyeing a victory to secure the tenth-place spot.

Liverpool currently occupies the third position in the Premier League standings heading into the last week of the season. With 23 wins, 10 draws, and four losses in 37 games, they stand at 79 points, trailing second-place Manchester City by seven points.

Throughout the season, Liverpool has displayed attacking prowess, netting 84 goals at an average of 2.27 goals per game. However, their defense has shown some vulnerability, conceding 41 goals and keeping nine clean sheets.

Meanwhile, Wolves find themselves in the 13th position in the Premier League standings. With 13 wins, seven draws, and 17 losses in 37 games, they have accumulated 46 points, just two points behind Brighton in tenth place.

Wolves have maintained an average offensive performance, scoring 50 goals at an average of 1.35 goals per game. However, defensively, they have struggled, conceding 63 goals and managing only five clean sheets.

In their head-to-head history, Liverpool has dominated with 60 wins compared to Wolves' 37 victories, with 18 matches ending in draws.

Looking at recent form, Liverpool has secured three wins, two draws, and one loss in their last six games across all competitions. On the other hand, Wolves have managed only one win and suffered four losses in their last five matches.

In terms of player availability, Liverpool will miss Thiago and Joel Matip for the rest of the season, but Diogo Jota is expected to return. Wolves, meanwhile, have Craig Dawson and Leon Chiwone sidelined but should have Pedro Neto, Mario Lemina, and Noha Lemina available.

Recent performances showcase Liverpool's resilience, despite setbacks such as their Europa League exit to Atalanta and a draw against Aston Villa. Wolves, however, have experienced mixed results, with victories over Luton Town but disappointing losses to Bournemouth and Manchester City, highlighting their inconsistency.

Despite a rollercoaster end to the season for Liverpool, they're likely to pick up a win in Klopp’s last game with Salah likely to be on the scoresheet again
